What is CoolSculpting®?
CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive, non-surgical fat reduction treatment that works by freezing fat cells using a process called cryolipolysis. The thermal effects of freezing these cells causes the outer membrane to break down, thus destroying unwanted fat from the treatment area. CoolSculpting® targets subcutaneous fat in the skin only, so it is not a weight loss solution. Rather, it is a treatment for men and women with small areas of excess fat that cannot be eliminated with diet and exercise or that could take years to reduce.

What is CoolTone™?
CoolTone™ is a product that was developed by Allergan, the makers of CoolSculpting®, as an alternative approach to non-surgical body contouring. There are two goals to diet and exercise – reduce fat and build muscle. Muscle development is important because it helps your body eliminate fat faster than methods that rely on direct fat reduction. Muscle tone also gives your body a healthier appearance. CoolTone™ is a system that applies energy to your muscles to build strength, tone and definition, with a secondary benefit of helping you burn fat more efficiently.
How Much Does CoolTone™ Cost?
The average cost of CoolTone™ is $2,000 per area treated. Additional discounts apply when multiple areas are treated. After we work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan during the consultation, we can provide more details about the cost. We offer free consultations for all non-surgical body contouring procedures. All other consultations cost $50, which we apply towards the cost of your CoolTone™ treatments.

CoolTone™ is best suited for men and women who want to increase muscle mass in the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks. The system allows us to control how much muscle development is produced, so you can stay slim and toned without bulking up too much.
How is CoolTone™ Performed?
CoolTone™ uses magnetic muscle stimulation which causes contractions in the muscles, much the same as what occurs when you work out with weights. The contractions are at a higher intensity and frequency than what you can do on your own. During the procedure, you simply relax, although the sensation of the muscle contractions may feel unusual at first.
What is Recovery Like After CoolTone™?
CoolTone™ requires no downtime. While you may experience some redness and tenderness in the treated area, most of our patients return to their normal daily activities without restrictions immediately following a CoolTone™ treatment.
How Long Will CoolTone™ Results Last?
While CoolTone™ increases muscle size, you will have to maintain the results with exercise or additional CoolTone™ treatments. Muscles that are not used will atrophy over time and lose their definition.
